You can create a new webinar by clicking the button provided for this purpose. First, enter the title of your webinar. Then set the date, start time and planned duration of the webinar. The duration you specify is particularly important for your participants, as it will be displayed on the landing page. Depending on your subscription plan, a webinar may run over time. Nevertheless, the duration you enter should be as realistic as possible so that participants have clear expectations right from the moment they register.
Next, select the main moderator or main speaker. If you are the only account member, you automatically have moderator rights and will be listed as the main moderator. The main moderator must be present in the webinar room for the webinar to start. In addition to the main moderator, up to three co-moderators can be invited directly via email. They do not necessarily need their own account access. They will receive a personal link to the webinar room with the invitation.

The next step is to decide whether the webinar should be recorded. When you enable recording, it doesn't automatically mean that participants have access to the recording.
As an organizer, you can stream the recording at any time after the webinar or download it as an MP4 file. Attendees can only watch the recording as a stream if it has been actively approved by the organizer. You also determine whether the webinar should be public or private.
For a public webinar, registration takes place via a public link to the registration page. This is particularly suitable if you want to share the link freely, for example via your website, a newsletter or other communication channels.
Registration for a private webinar is only possible via a direct invitation from the edudip system. This setting is particularly suitable for closed groups of participants, smaller groups or more confidential events.

Our tool is of course already end-to-end encrypted as standard. In addition, you can activate additional end-to-end encryption for your webinar. This setting can be considered regardless of whether a webinar is public or private. It represents an additional level of security and is therefore located one level higher. This option is particularly recommended for smaller groups, confidential meetings or 1 on 1 consultations.
After the webinar has been created, you can customize the landing page or registration page individually.
